FOREIGN HORSES ALLOWED TO RACE IN FRANCE
FROM MONDAY 15TH JUNE

12/06/2020
Horse racing resumed on Monday 11 May in France, behind closed doors, under strict sanitary conditions, without public until further notice. Access to the racecourses is restricted to authorized persons only, whose presence will have been declared beforehand.

For sanitary reasons, several instructions from the Prime Minister have very strictly limited entry to the national territory and have led France Galop to open these races, from 11th  May to 14th June included, only to holders of a trainer's licence or rider's licence issued by France Galop.

From Monday 15th June, foreign horses will be allowed to return to our racecourses. The people accompanying the horses will nevertheless be subject to the restrictions put in place by the different governments for international travels.  We, therefore, advise you to refer to them before travelling.

Please note that the specifications detailing all the main rules for the good organisation of the races are available here: http://www.france-galop.com/en/content/racing-professionals.
