The 48 Hours Jump Festival

Two days of extreme sport ! The 48 Hours Jump Festival showcases two days of the highest quality Jump racing has to offer. It features 15 Jump races of rare intensity: 8 of them over hurdles and 7 over steeplechase fences.

The 48 Hours Jump Festival is a significant event in French Jump racing thanks to a programme that features every aspect of the sport. It showcases an exceptional card of 4 Grade 1 races: The Grand Prix d’Automne is run on Saturday, while the Prix Maurice Gillois, the Prix Cambacérès and the Prix la Haye Jousselin are run on Sunday. The lastnamed, a steeplechase over 5,500-metres, is the weekend’s highlight. It is open to fiveyear-olds and up, and allows champions that were successful in the spring –and notably in the Grand Steeple-Chase de Paris– to endorse their reputations among the jumping elite worldwide.

The programme –those 4 Grade 1 races, which represents the highest grade in racing– is simply exceptional. These two days of competition make up the grand finale of a season rich in achievement and full of highlights.
